Er ist sehr geizig und lebt alleine in London. Vor vielen Jahren hat er an Weihnachten seinen Gesch\u00e4ftspartner und guten Freund Marley verloren und durch diesen Verlust hasst er alles, was mit Weihnachten zu tun hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In der Heiligen Nacht besucht ihn Marleys Geist und schickt Scrooge in die Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft. In den folgenden Situationen erkennt er, welche Auswirkungen sein Geiz hat und beschlie\u00dft, ein besserer und gro\u00dfz\u00fcgiger Mensch zu werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Moral dieses St\u00fccks hat auch heute noch eine gro\u00dfe Bedeutung. The play was about Scrooge, a wealthy man who doesn\u2019t believe in Christmas. He is a miser and lives alone in London. On Christmas Eve, many years ago, he lost his good friend and business partner Marley and therefore he hates everything about Christmas. On Christmas Eve Marley\u2019s ghost comes to visit him and transports Scrooge into his past, present and future.
